sinic is a new indierock/powerpopband from Antwerp. In a few months time these five very different guys have managed to combine their various musical influences and put together a nice repertoire.
As of now sinic happily surrender to the sound of rock-‘n-roll. Constantly testing themselves, demanding attention, always accessible.
sinic resolutely choose to bring their own music. They write songs and sing about uncertainty and traps that young adults are lured into. The duality of these problems is never far away, nor is quiet acceptance. Lyrics come straight from the heart but are hazed over by the mind and by all means unpretentious.
In March 2009 sinic released their debut EP, with the help of producer Tom Lodewyckx, titled Coffee and rum, containing five songs. This EP lifts a corner of the veil of what they musically stand for.
